CPR & AED Only Course
A two year certificate is issued at the end of the course.
The CPR/ AED Course is designed and intended for people who do not work in the health field but need to take a general CPR class. The course teaches the basic techniques of CPR for adult, child and infant victims, and how to use an AED. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and choking. 2 to 2.5 hours.
